What Yopeso Academy collects, why, and who can see it.

This is an internal Yopeso tool, built and run by the UX function. This page describes what it collects and how that data is used — it’s not a formal legal policy, and it’ll be replaced by one if the platform grows to need it.

What’s collected

  • Your name and Yopeso email address, from signup.
  • Your discipline (e.g. UX, QA, PM), which you set and can change.
  • Course progress: which modules you’ve opened, quiz and final assessment scores, and certificates earned.
  • Study activity: the date (not exact time-on-task) you worked on a module, so your own history and the dashboard can show it back to you.

Who can see it

  • You always see your own progress, history, and scores in full.
  • If you earn a certificate, your name, best score, and level appear on the high-score list — automatic, with no opt-out (see the FAQ).
  • An admin can see individual progress and contact details, to support people who get stuck and report results to sponsors.
  • Anyone with read-only exec access sees aggregate numbers only — adoption, completion, who’s certified — never a list of who individually hasn’t started or is behind.

Where it lives

Data is stored in this platform’s own database (Supabase), not shared with any third party beyond the infrastructure that runs the platform itself. Answer keys and grading always happen server-side — your browser never sees them.
